Recording Codec


Overview...

Installing the optional Recording Codec allows Hosts to record using Nefsis' own AVI format. The codec also needs to be installed on other computers wishing to playback the AVI recording.

The following article will guide you through how to install the Recording Codec.

Step-by-Step...

  • While in a Nefsis conference...
  • Select the Help tab
  • Select Install Codec for Recording


  • An installation assistant will open - follow the on-screen instructions

    NOTE: You will need 'administrator' rights (or at least be able to install software) to install the recording codec.

  • Once the installation has finished, exit and re-join the Nefsis conference.
    You can now start recording a conference in the AVI format.
