On a multiparty web conferencing is the communication between the clients point to point or do all of them go to through the server which is the hub ?

Nefsis is a client-server solution. No data is sent peer-to-peer.

So technically you can have one person broad cast and 500 people connect to the server and view that broadcast ?

Provided there is adequate bandwidth for the types of shares in use then yes, this will work just fine.
