Connecting to a Nefsis Dedicated APS with the Nefsis Presence Client.docx 

First you must attain the Nefsis Presence Client install from your internal Nefsis technical contact. Setup files are located on the Nefsis Dedicated Server within the 'C:\Program Files\Wiredred\Setup' folder.

You can then install the application but keep in mind; you must have admin rights to complete the install. You will then be prompted with a login screen. From there you must select ‘Connection settings’ below the ‘Login’ button.



The ‘Connection Settings’ window will pop up. You can then select ‘Use locally installed Nefsis server’ and enter in the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) or the IP Address of the Nefsis APS server. Click OK after you enter the information.



After clicking OK the Nefsis Login window will show. Enter in the user account information and select ‘Login’



Troubleshooting:

Enable XML logging if you are experiencing login failures. You can enable XML logging by selecting ‘Connection settings’ and choose the ‘XML Logging’ option.



The XML logging file is located under the following folder.

• Windows XP/2000: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\WiredRed

• Windows Vista/7: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\WiredRed
