We used the DVD Ripper option in DVDfab and ripped our test DVD to a WMV formatted video. DVDfab rip and convert DVDs in one pass and we tested it in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Here are the steps.

1. Start DVDfab,
2. Select DVD Ripper,
3. If the 'to WMV...' option is not visible, click on 'More...',
4. Select 'to WMV...' and click OK,
5. Select your DVD source located at the top right section,
6. Select your target (select the default and make a note of the path),
7. At the bottom of DVDfab, click Edit,
8. Select your output preference (see the video format section). We recommend trying the 640 resolution for video if it is available and 128 Kbps for audio.
9. Click on OKand then click on Start.
10. When the conversion process is complete, start Windows Media Player and open the WMV file to verify it works,
11. If the WMV plays it without any issues, share it in Nefsis using the Media Sharing feature.

Note: If you have any other DVD ripping programs or third party codec packs (like FFDSHOW or K-Lite), we highly recommend uninstalling these apps and codec packs before proceeding with our recommendation.

Let us know if this solution works for you.
