Internally we have tested the EVI-HD1 (http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/cat-industrialcameras/cat-highdefinition/product-EVIHD1/) and found that it works well with Nefsis, provided you have a capable HD capture card like the Decklink HD Extreme.

HD1 is only up to 720p, has Nefsis been tested on any hardware that support 1080 ?

The HD1 supports up to 1080p, but based on capture card performance, cpu load and bandwidth we recommend using 1080i or preferably 720p.

SONY EVI-HD7V and SONY EVI-HD1 both looks all most same, need to look at why one is $500 more.

I bought another HD camera this week, I will post my testing here.
