I see from another thread that it's possible to silently install Nefsis. Is it possible to take this one step further and include configuration settings? The setting we desire to have set right after install is to use SSL.

I searched through the registry and install directory and could not find where these settings are stored.

Thanks!

Actually this may be possible, but it would require copying a settings file into a folder in the user's local profile folder. Let me see what I can come up with.

Thanks Scott. That would be great.

PC_settings.xml

This PC_settings.xml file is preconfigured to use:

* Automatic connection
* Do not use browser's proxy settings
* Use HTTPS/SSL

It would have to be placed in the user's data folder. The folder location depends on the operating system:

Windows 2000/XP: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\WiredRed
Windows Vista/7: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\WiredRed

Note that not all settings can be configured this way, some will be specific to an established Nefsis account.
