This is possibly caused by corruption in Word's Data key for the user. Perform the following to see if it resolves the issue:

1. Close any open Office applications
2. Start > Run > regedit
3. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data
4. Right click the Data key and select Delete.

Word will recreate this key when it is launched. Re-enable the wrMSOfficeAddin and see if the issue recurs.
